PURPOSE
--------
This autodialer was developed to make it easy for an office to maintain
many large phone directories using its PC computer.
DISCLAIMER
----------
SUPERDIAL COMES WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND; IT IS AVAILABLE AS IS.
The author would like to know of problems that users have, but
makes no promise or guarantee that any problems will be fixed.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING
ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, FAILURE TO EDUCATE, OR OTHER
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR
INABILITY TO USE THIS PROGRAM, EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY
ANY OTHER PARTY.
PERMISSION TO COPY
------------------
Clubs and other non-profit organizations are granted permission by
the author to freely copy this program and documentation and share it
with their members, so long as:
1. No price is charged for the software or documentation.
However, a distribution cost may be charged for the cost of the
diskette, so long as it is not more than $6 total.
2. Club members are informed of the user-supported concept and
encouraged to support it with their donations, $10.00.
3. The program or documentation are not modified in any way and
are always distributed together.
THE USER-SUPPORTED CONCEPT.

Regardless of whether you make a contribution,
you are encouraged to copy and share this program.
User-supported software is an experiment in distributing computer
programs, based on these beliefs:
1. That the value and utility of software is best assessed by the
user on his/her own system.
2. That the creation of personal computer software can and should
be supported by the computing community.
3. That copying of programs should be encouraged, rather than
restricted.
RUNNING SUPERDIAL
-----------------
The SUPERDIAL diskette should be backed up. Never run the only one
you have if you value being able to run SUPERDIAL tomorrow.
SUPERDIAL is initially distributed on double sided diskettes. If
you have single sided drives you should get someone with double
sided drives to copy the files onto diskettes formatted for
single sided use.
STARTING
--------
Boot DOS up and place the SUPERDIAL disk into the default drive and
type DIALER.
FILE INFORMATION
----------------
There are two types of disk files used by SUPERDIAL. The first is a
configuration file, PHONE.DAT . The second type is an ASCII file which
contains the names and phone numbers. You may have only one configuration
file, but you may have as many directory files as you need. The program
allows you to switch from one directory to another. If you want to change
your default directory, select the option to change your configuration.
